Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow is leading an 8-day investment and trade mission to the United States from 28 September to 5 October, organised by InvestPenang. The mission aims to renew ties and strengthen relationships with the corporate headquarters of American investors in Penang, encourage further expansion of their Penang operations, and attract new investments.
During the first two days in San Jose, the Chief Minister and InvestPenang delegates participated in a series of strategic meetings and site visits, engaging with existing and potential investors, including Agilent, AMD, Cadence, Coherent and Intuitive, among others.
The delegation will continue its engagements with corporate headquarters in San Jose for the rest of the mission.
