The new Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) director for Penang Yusni Md Yusop this afternoon made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng at his office in Komtar.

Lim, in welcoming his guest, hoped that she will have a successful tenure in her new posting.

Also present was investPenang chief executive officer Datuk Loo Lee Lian.

Prior to her new position in Penang, Yusni had served from the middle of 2014 for three years as the Director/Consul Investment of MIDA Milan, Italy to promote Malaysia as an investment destination to companies in Italy, Switzerland, Cyprus and Malta.

After which she joined the Foreign Investment Division, which is the frontline division of MIDA for attracting and facilitating foreign investments into the country.

Yusni began her directorship of MIDA Penang from Feb 26, 2018.
