Introduction
Established in 1984, Kobay Technology Berhad (Kobay) has publicly listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad since 1997.
Kobay specialises in manufacturing of high-precision machined components, high-level assembly, box-built, high precision tools and moulds, heavy metal structure fabrication, aluminium extrusion, design and manufacturing of automated equipment and surface treatment. The company caters to clients in various industries, including semiconductor, electrical and electronic (E&E), aerospace, medical devices and life science, solar, oil and gas.
The Group’s mission is to be recognised as the pre-eminent supplier of high-precision engineering solutions on a global scale. The majority of its clientele consists of multinational corporations based in Malaysia, with additional customers spanning across Europe, North America, and the Asia Pacific region.

Future Plan
With over 35 years of experience in servicing the semiconductor and E&E industries, Kobay has set its sights on elevating its position to move up the value chain to service its global customer based involved in blockchain, big data, robotic and renewable energy industries.
With its experience in manufacturing metal fabrication parts and components, the Group has set up an aluminium extrusion and surface treatment facilities. These facilities are dedicated to serve its customers in the renewable energy industries leveraging on its newly acquired factory premise spanning 15 acres in Perai.
