PENANG, 5 JANUARY 2026 – V-Chip, a subsidiary of Sai Microelectronic, a China-listed company and the world’s largest MEMS foundry, officially established its new IC Design facility in Penang in September 2025. This significant milestone marks a new chapter in the company’s global expansion and reinforces Penang’s strategic role in the world’s semiconductor landscape.

V-Chip plays a clear and essential role in the semiconductor ecosystem by serving as a core partner that supports clients from concept to silicon success.
