Penang, August 2,2022 – InvestPenang hosted an Appreciation Lunch for Government Departments, Agencies and Local Authorities today to thank them for their support to the industry.

The agencies include Perbadanan Pembangunan Pulau Pinang (PDC), Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang (MBPP), Majlis Bandaraya Seberang Perai (MBSP), Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd (PBA), Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Jabatan Keselamatan dan Kesihatan Pekerjaan (DOSH), Jabatan Bomba & Penyelamat Malaysia Negeri Pulau Pinang, Indah Water Konsortium (IWK), Jabatan Alam Sekitar (DOE), Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS), Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), Jabatan Imigresen, Pejabat Tanah dan Galian (PTG) and Lembaga Pembangunan Pelaburan Malaysia (MIDA); all who have helped with project implementations and operations of the industrial parks.

During the lunch, InvestPenang also shared on global and industry trends, challenges faced by the industry and supports needed to sustain the state’s position as the preferred investment location for investors, with all agreeing to work together to improve the ease of doing business in Penang.
