Established in 2009, Fulkrum’s focus is to digitise all industry sectors by specialising as a full-fledged software development solution provider that works with the latest technologies and delivering innovative intelligent industrial solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Fulkrum’s flagship digitalisation project clients include Press Metal Berhad, Continental Automotive Components, Nera Telecommunication, and Majlis Bandaraya Seberang Perai.

The company aims to be a main player in the digital transformation era. Fulkrum also engages in official collaborations with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) & Politeknik Seberang Perai. Operating from their main office in Pusat Bandar Bertam Perdana, Penang, the company hires 25 full-time talents from engineers to consultants.

1. Vixiomatic – Industrial Monitoring & Alert (Solution)
Vixiomatic is an Industrial Monitoring & Alert system that involves wearable technology and machine vision to reduce manufacturing downtime. Vixiomatic can integrate with other machines, robots, and hardware, adapting to specific use cases to boost productivity, reduce downtime, and make manufacturing operations more efficient. Beyond that, Vixiomatic can monitor workers in hazardous areas for the oil & gas industry for the workers safety and productive work environment.

2. Webbryx – Intelligent Weighbridge System (Solution)
Webbryx offers the latest high-tech services to help manage the tedious task of weighment and make the entire process an easy and reliable process. The completely semi-automatic or automatic and computerised features allow for great cost-cutting for companies while also preventing human errors and tampering with the weighment operations.

3. TranSoluxion – Transport Operation System (Solution)
TranSoluxion is an integrated solution for bus operations that comes with an advanced fleet tracking system without any permanent GPS device installation. It allows users to manage vehicles, drivers, trips, and bookings while tracking drivers’ performance and empower passengers with smartphone applications.

4. Digital Transformation (Services)
Decades of combined experience provided Fulkrum with greater insights on how to maximise the value for customer’s deployment. The company provides myriads of services to help businesses gain a competitive advantage through providing lower costs, better operational efficiency, and clarity in their decision-making by digitally transforming their operations.

Future Plan

With the continuous growth in the industry, Fulkrum is shifting more focus on digitalising the industrial and manufacturing sectors using ground-breaking technologies such as artificial intelligence, camera vision, IOT, and wearable technology.

Through current partnerships with educational institutions such as Politeknik Seberang Perai, Fulkrum also intends to engage into Research & Development (R&D) with a specific focus on smaller and nimble solutions that can work with other legacy technologies prevalent in the industry. The collaborative approach reflects the company’s dedication to staying adaptable and responsive to technological advancements to address the evolving needs of all industry sectors. Fulkrum is also planning to grow regionally, especially in Indonesia and Singapore, to better leverage Fulkrum’s deep knowledge of the industry.
