Malaysia Aerospace Industry Association (MAIA), a key organisation that represents and promotes the growth of the Malaysia’s aerospace sector, is organising a “MAIA Avionics Workshop” and followed by “MAIA Business Bonding North” on 17 April 2025, with InvestPenang as a strategic partner.

The workshop titled “Connecting Aerospace and E&E: Synergy for success”, aims to foster collaboration between the aerospace and Electrical & Electronics (E&E) sectors, with a focus on enhancing local capabilities in avionics.

Details of the workshop is as follows:

Time: 9.00am to 1.00pm
Venue: AC Hotel by Marriott Penang

By bring in together experts, industry leaders, and innovators from both aerospace and E&E to discuss critical advancements and explore opportunities to strengthen the local avionics industry.

Key topics to be covered include:

• Advances in avionics technology and integration
• Collaborative solutions between aerospace and E&E
• Local challenges and opportunities for growth in avionics
• Strategies for boosting innovation and regional competitiveness

Additionally, the workshop participants are encouraged to take part in the networking session – “MAIA Business Bonding North”, from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm at the same venue.
