We are proud to inform you that investPenang is once again the supporting partner for SEMI to host the prestigious SEMICON South East Asia 2016 event in Penang. SEMICON SEA held its inaugural event outside of Singapore in Penang last year. The show attracted an overwhelming response with 1,600 exhibitors and almost 7,000 attendees. It was the biggest semiconductor show in the region with participation from major semiconductor, LED, equipment makers, materials and service players.

In conjunction with this event, investPenang will host the following events:

1. Innovation Discovery Hub by @CAT at Wisma Yeap Chor Ee on 27 April 2016 to showcase and promote Penang’s tech start up and entrepreneur space
2. “The CEO Speaks…”, at Olive Tree Hotel on 27 April 2016 which brings prominent international speakers on smart manufacturing  that focuses on the emergence of IoT
3. SEMICON U at @CAT on 28 April 2016, to generate interest and provides the opportunity for students to learn more about tech entrepreneurship from executive leaders and professionals through an interactive session.
4. investPenang’s booth at sPICE, 26-28th April 2015 to promote investment in Penang.

280 booths have been sold out to 170 exhibiting companies and the event is expected to attract 8,000 trade visitors from US, Germany, Singapore, Japan and more.
