Shan Poornam Group, a Cenviro company, celebrated a major milestone today with a visit from the Penang Chief Minister to its integrated Environmentally Sound Management (ESM) Recovery and Refining Plant, Malaysia's pioneer company in integrated Waste Management.
Shan Poornam, covering 14.23 acres (619,858 sq ft) and employing 850 people, embodies Shan Poornam’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure. The plant transforms waste into valuable recycled materials with a low carbon footprint, leveraging a research-driven approach that supports a circular economy and advances an eco-friendly ecosystem. Known for handling diverse industrial waste types, including e-waste, the ESM Plant stands as a national example of responsible waste management.
