PSD @5km+ Three Key Components
Penang IC Design & Digital Park @Bayan Lepas
- Approx 1 mil sqft of a hybrid office and lab space for IC & R&D companies
- Aims to create a vibrant ecosystem to foster innovation and attract global and local IC design players.
Penang Chip Design Academy @PSDC
- The Chip Design Talent Cultivation Program is designed to upskill and reskill working professionals and fresh graduates, equipping them with industry-ready IC design skills.
- This program offers comprehensive IC Design Mastery training with hands-on experience in physical design, verification, custom layout, and analog circuits. It also includes short courses on STA, DFT, PCB design, and other industry-specific topics to enhance essential skills.
Silicon Research & Incubation Space @GBS TechSpace
- The one-stop center supports chip design companies by offering consultation and mentorship, a collaborative workspace with state-of-the-art infrastructure, and access to design services, essential EDA tools, MPW, and IP providers.
- It also provides expertise in post silicon equipment, packaging and key technical disciplines for NPI preparation, all supported by the technology collaborators within the 5km+ ecosystem.
