InvestPenang conducted a briefing to the five finalists of Masterplan Design Competition for the proposed Penang South Islands (PSI) project. The purpose of this session is to enable the finalists to have a better understanding on the industries in Penang. The presentation\u2019s key highlights included Penang\u2019s industry profile and promoted industries, investors\u2019 site selection criteria and Penang\u2019s competitive edges in attracting investments.<\/p>\n

The five finalists are BIG \u2013 Bjarke Ingels Group (Denmark) with Hijjas Architect & Planner; Foster + Partners (UK) with GDP Architects Sdn Bhd; MVRDV (the Netherlands) with aLM Architects; Tekuma Frenchman Urban Design (USA) with EOWON Architects; and UN Studio (the Netherlands) with Architects 61 Sdn Bhd.<\/p>\n
