August 8, 2024<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow is on a 10-day investment and trade mission to the United States from 4 to 14 August, organised by InvestPenang. The primary objectives are to renew ties and strengthen relationships with the corporate headquarters of US investors in Penang, encourage the expansion of their Penang sites, and attract new investments.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister and InvestPenang delegates participated in a series of strategic meetings and site visits in San Jose during the first three days, engaging with existing and potential investors including MKS Instruments, Brooks Instruments, Lattice Semiconductor, AMD, Synopsys, Efinix, Agilent, Coherent and SambaNova.<\/p>\n

The team will also be visiting corporate headquarters in Seattle, Los Angeles and San Diego for the\u00a0remaining\u00a0days.<\/p>\n
